Every Thanksgiving table needs a pie – make yours one that gives back!
Community Servings believes in the astonishing power of food. Their team prepares and delivers scratch-made meals daily to individuals and families across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, living with critical and chronic illnesses. The agency tailors meals to meet the individual medical and nutritional needs of clients eperiencing HIV/AIDS, cancer, kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease, and other devastating illnesses.
With generous support from friends and donors (like YOU!) through Pie in the Sky, their annual Thanksgiving fundraiser, Community Servings will continue to bring home-delivered meals to as many critically and chronically ill neighbors as possible this holiday season and beyond.
When you buy a freshly-baked apple, pecan or pumpkin pie for $35 or make a Pie for a Client donation, you purchase more than just a pie; you help Community Servings serve a neighbor unable to shop or cook for themselves – for an entire week!
Please buy a pie or make a donation and help Community Servings provide meals to critically ill clients and their families this holiday season.

Wow.
Clearly a marketing AI bot that would fool I’m guessing 80% of people over 68 into thinking this was human generated.
AI. It’s coming.

From Ronnie Benjamin:
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. As some of you know, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer earlier this year. Despite ongoing chemotherapy treatments, colorectal surgery and travelling between some of the best cancer centers in Massachusetts and New York, I was given the grim news, that I am currently no longer a candidate for many of the life saving options available, because of the innumerable tumors throughout my liver. The only chance I have for long-term survival, is to undergo a live liver transplant. This is where someone donates a small portion of their healthy liver, to save my life. This portion of donated liver, will grow into a healthy new liver for me, and the donor’s liver will grow back too! Not able to donate? No problem! There are still many ways to help. Sharing my story/posts on Facebook, liking and commenting on my posts (this helps people see posts more frequently) and using your voice to help spread the word. Your support during this journey to find a donor, could be the life saving gift I desperately need, to grow old with my wife and three boys.

You may remember reading out our teflon pan nightmare here:

in response to the above pan disintegrating before our eyes, this is the one we purchased to replace it. Also the recommendations from others you may recognize with the links to read reviews/purchase of those pans.
Here’s the one we purchase:

We love our caraway pans. They’re ceramic so still nonstick.

CAST IRON. PERIOD

We have the Caraway pans. They are great !
me too!! They’re awesome!
Our place cookware and caraway cookware are the absolute best! (Teflon is super toxic!
)
Hexclad is the way to go, Joe!

I have cast iron and stainless steel pans – sticking is not an issue
We’ve had no problems at all with cast iron. Two glass cooktops and no issues.
Straight stainless steel.
If you get cast iron, pay top dollar for a good one. It’s worth it. So many are made cheaply. Yeti has one for $400. And it’s worth every penny. It takes a month to make.
yup I bought cast-iron the other day and I have stainless steel and all of my Teflon things are going to the thrift center here in Kingstonnh
Eek! I would vote for Made In or All Clad stainless steel for pots and pans and USA Pan cookie sheets and bakeware if cast iron is not an option. If enamel cast iron is safe, the Le Creuset Dutch oven is so worth it! On another note, have you watched The Bear yet? Sooo good–all imho?
Good old fashioned cast iron pan after you used it many times does not stick. Our parents used it!
Stainless steel 18/10 all day long. All components have to be the same material too for the handles. No wood or plastic pieces.
Susan Casey Lipsett Scanpan

Joey Ciaramitaro we have been using All Clad and Cuisinart Teflon pans for years and they have not disintegrated.
Revere ware stainless steel, Cooper heat surface

cast iron – well seasoned
