As part of the annual Middle Street Walk on December 13 , the Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church will hold its regular offering of music, food, craft vendors and historic building tours. Food includes two kinds of chowder, two kinds of Chili, hot dogs, desserts and beverages. The ever popular cookie counter sells homemade by the pound. Craft vendors  are always popular, new this year is a used book table and greeting cards with images of our iconic church. Open from 9:00 to 1:30, lunch from 11:30.–

Local author Laura Ventimiglia will be discussing her recently released novella The Women of the LIght: Betta’s Story and the tradition of the Night of Lights in Terrasini Sicily tomorrow Monday Dec 8 from 5:30-6:30 at the St. Peter’s Club on Rogers St. I’ll be there! Hoping to see you too. The evening will also feature Sefatia Romeo Theken and Allie Nicastro. Laura is an entertaining and factual presenter and you probably should consider attending.
