From its home in New Bedford to the Gloucester Railway, the Ernestina Morrissey ties up at its temporary berth at the State Pier.

William Funk submits:

“Gloucester just might be the temporary home port for this historical ship after being unable to return to its home in New Bedford while pier repairs are underway” said a reliable source.

“Our morning walk with our dogs on the State pier was exceptional this morning,” said Bill Funk, “the repairs to the ship at the Railway were exceptional and seeing the mostly female crew tie her down was a site to see,” he continued. “Hopefully, others will have this same experience when walking on our pier.”
