Special Election April 24, 2025  (past)                                                                                         Preliminary Election: September 16, 2025                                                                      Municipal Election: November 4, 2025                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The City of Gloucester will be holding elections this year for the following City Government Offices: Mayor, City Council at Large, Ward Councilor Wards 1-5, & School Committee.

*There will be no Early Voting for the Preliminary Election.*

Voter Registration Deadlines for the September 16, 2025 Preliminary Election: 

The deadline to register to vote or make changes to your voter registration for the September 16, 2025 Preliminary is Friday, September 5, 2025. The City Clerk’s Office will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm for voter registration and registration changes.  Online voter registration deadline is Friday September 5, 2025 @ 11:59pm.  To find out if you are registered and where to vote click here.
