In Honor Of Jimmy Dalpiaz’ Mets Failing To Make The Post Season and Our Red Sox Making The Postseason despite the Mets Having the highest salary in MLB I present to you a montage of snippets about the Mets failures

Is it September 28th or July 28th

On Sunday went over to Wingaersheek Beach for a walk.  Of course I had my bathing suit on just in case.  It was crowded with beach chairs, umbrellas and swimmers, including myself.  The weather was amazing and the water was warm.

Glorious

Congratulations!

Congratulations to this beautiful couple. I walked past this newly married couple as they patiently waited for a surprisingly high number of cars to stop going by so they could have some photos taken on the back shore last night.

Featuring the Elks Of Yellowstone

This will be my last travelogue post (maybe….) and it features the elks of Yellowstone behaving as elk do. If you have ever considered a photography trip, I recommend that you take a look at Slonina Photography. I have taken several trips with him. I like the small groups, individual attention and especially the attention to detail for the featured area to support photography skill building. Each component combines for a wonderfully successful adventure.

And here are the elk for your enjoyment….

Join us in the candlelit Great Hall at Hammond Castle Museum for an extraordinary group reading with Kevin V. Coan, a highly regarded evidential medium with over 35 years of experience. Kevin’s empathetic approach and down-to-earth demeanor have brought comfort and healing to countless individuals, offering profound messages of connection from loved ones who have crossed over.

Enjoy light refreshments as Kevin uses his remarkable ability to interpret messages through photographs of the departed. Witness firsthand the power of his gift to bridge the gap between worlds and provide evidence of the enduring bond with loved ones.

A single printed photograph of those who have passed is needed to help facilitate the possibility of a reading. Learn more and reserve your seats before they’re gone! This event is expected to sell out.

Community Safety Day Appreciation

Hello,

I’m not sure who’s in charge of the community safety day but wanted to pass along a thank you for putting this event on.  My husband and I just happened to be in the area and saw the trucks so we walked through- what a cool experience and opportunity to speak to all those who serve on a full time basis.  I only wished my kids were with us!

It would be very cool to see high schoolers attend this event as a career development opportunity.  Maybe offer extra credit for attending and speaking to people.

If you’re able to pass along my appreciation for putting this on I would appreciate it.  Will plan to bring our crew next year!

Roof Top Bling

The Rogers and I spotted this new rooftop addition while listening to some music yesterday across the street at the Blue Collar. It sits on top of the Cape Ann Savings Bank Building and none of us have ever noticed it before. Is it new? Can anyone ever tell us how long it has been there?
