Think of it like the Golden Bachelor comes to Gloucester.

If you enjoy slapstick, mayhem, and a bit of adult humor, come see Hello Dolly!, a musical being performed by the Annisquam Village Players, Aug. 5-10 at the historic Annisquam Village Hall. Curtain rises at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased via the website, www.annisquamvillageplayers.org.
The story is set in Yonkers and New York City and involves the matchmaker, Ms. Dolly Levi (played by Jennifer McKay) who sets out to find a bride for the old curmudgeon and widower Horace Vandergelder (played by Mike English), as well as meddle in other romantic situations. Like many relationships, it gets complicated.
