A fun time was had by all on our Annual Schooner Thomas E Lannon Cigar Sail!
One of my favorite boats in the harbor Captain Heath always had the boat kept up immaculately and getting to exchange stories with Tom Ellis is always a treat! Always a great group for this sail. Looking forward to the next one! If you haven’t booked a Schooner Sail in Gloucester I’m telling you it’s one of the best stay-cation ideas you can do along with a Whale Watch and a visit to the @capeannmuseum @maritimegloucester and a stroll down Main St popping into all the coffee shops and bakeries like @castawaysvintagecafeglo @caffesicilia01930 @lonegullcoffeehouse @virgilios__bakery @sclafanis_bakery_and_deli I guarantee a fantastic time!

Photos: Summer Celebration “Under Sail” at CAM Green
Hi Joey,
On Saturday, July 19, Cape Ann Museum hosted its Summer Celebration “Under Sail” on CAM Green. The event brought together friends, new and old, while also bringing together Cape Ann Museum patrons, corporate leaders, and community supporters to raise critical funds for the Museum.
HERE is a link to select photos from the event. Photo ID’s from left to right are in the comment section within the Dropbox link. Photo credit to Sharon’s Studio.
Thank you for considering highlighting this summer event.
All the best,

Hello Dolly!, a musical being performed by the Annisquam Village Players, Aug. 5-10 at the historic Annisquam Village Hall.
Think of it like the Golden Bachelor comes to Gloucester.

If you enjoy slapstick, mayhem, and a bit of adult humor, come see Hello Dolly!, a musical being performed by the Annisquam Village Players, Aug. 5-10 at the historic Annisquam Village Hall. Curtain rises at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased via the website, www.annisquamvillageplayers.org.
The story is set in Yonkers and New York City and involves the matchmaker, Ms. Dolly Levi (played by Jennifer McKay) who sets out to find a bride for the old curmudgeon and widower Horace Vandergelder (played by Mike English), as well as meddle in other romantic situations. Like many relationships, it gets complicated.
The show also stars locals Bill Wrinn (playing the in-need-of-a-life store clerk Cornelius Hackl), Victoria Fortune (in the role of Mrs. Irene Malloy, the male-exploiting hat shop owner) James Brennan (a wide-eyed youth), Miranda Joyce (playing Minnie Fay, a young hat shop assistant), Kavika Babson (Ambrose the artist seeking marriage), Kiki Campbell (Ermengarde, a sobbing 17-year-old), Morgan Reilly (Ernestina Money, a floosie looking for a hot date), and Tom Moriarty (the German restaurant major-domo).
The Annisquam Village Players is one of the oldest community theatres in the country, dating back to its first production in 1863 on the Annisquam Village Green, and have since entertained Cape Anners for decades. Don’t miss its latest production. Get your tickets while they last!

Poop Museum Program Coming to City Hall Presented By The Library
Given some of the GMG Castaways preferences for “poop talk”, I just had to share this unique program offering coming Monday July 28 to City Hall auditorium from the library as part of the Summer Reading program. Aimed at 4-9 year olds, but GMG Chris should probably plan to attend.

Buy in the summer, refi in the spring.
