Championship Friday for women’s seine boats is set. Friday night St. Peter’s Fiesta Sporting Events start at 4:45 at Pavilion beach. Women’s Seine Boats will kick us off followed by the Greasy Pole with the Jr. Women’s Seine Boat race starting right after the Pole.FieataWeek Viva San Pietro

So much fun to be had for all ages downtown last night….and certainly all weekend. Kudos to everyone who is working in the midst of fiesta. Be it the police and fire departments, DPW crews, store employees, and restaurant/bar staff! It was fun to sit at Tonno for a bit and watch fiesta unfold.

Fiesta 5K 2025 Was A Blast

The Fiesta 5K was held under threatening, then clearing, skies last night and it was a blast. An absolute mass of humanity running and spectators along the route. I enjoyed the signage I could see from my vantage point near the finish. I am NOT a runner but it was impressive to watch many of the runners make their last surge as the finish line approached. Well done to the organizers, volunteers and runners. Oh….and Joey…for expertly covering the finish…..
