Dear Catherine,
How do we research the possible impact of this earthquake on Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant?
Thank you.

Thank you for the comment. Assume authorities would be notified and notify public if/when situations warranted monitoring. Currently no reports or alerts. Readers shared towns’, police, etc. social media reminding folks to leave 911 communication open for emergencies. [“The Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant is located in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The area that is approximately 10 miles around the plant is called the Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ). New Hampshire communities in the EPZ are: Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, Kingston, New Castle, Newfields, Newton, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye, Seabrook, South Hampton and Stratham.” EPZ preparedness packet here: https://www.readynh.gov/disasters/SeabrookStationEPZPreparednessInformation.htm. NH residents can sign up for emergency alerts.] I imagine people wonder about the decommissioned Pilgrim Nuclear power plant in Plymouth, too. Did you feel today’s earthquake?
