An Unusual Red Tailed Hawk

Many of you know we have been gallivanting across the northeast lately for a number of joyous family events. So it was an extra treat to spot an unusual (perhaps rare) leucistic red tailed hawk along the way. We have been on high alert for snowy owls so that was our first guess, but it was apparent this is definitely a hawk with unusual coloration.
