First off let me say that I’ll always be sad BC left the Big East. The Big East was a once proud conference that mattered and I grew up rooting for BC.
Having said that, what’s done is done and this format seems pretty exciting if you’re a football fan.

Lot of smoke over the water towards Salem this weekend.
I had everything set up at the shop and was settling in to accept customers and visitors when a very strong gust of wind tunneled down Main St. It completely knocked over my standing card rack and a new glass ornament display sending notecards flying on the wind down the street amongst the dry leaves. Luckily no one was struck by any of the debris and several people stopped to assist. I am very grateful to these very nice people but was so flustered that I did not thank them properly.
