Please join us on November 3rd to learn about sustainable agriculture* on Greater Cape Ann! 

On Sunday, November 3 at 3 p.m. at the Annisquam Village Church,  the Interfaith Committee of the Cape Ann Climate Coalition will hold its 3rd and final event in our series focused on sustainable agriculture, healthy soil, carbon sequestration, eating healthy and buying local. 

You will hear from a panel of three local farmers who are practicing sustainable agriculture on their farms. Alison DiFiore, Executive Director of Backyard Growers and a farmer, will moderate this session.  

The IFC is receiving grant money from NOAA to put on these programs.

The poster for this event is attached. Please share widely!!*Sustainable agricultural practices are intended to protect the environment, expand the Earth’s natural resource base, and maintain and improve soil fertility. I’ve long wanted to try to capture an arriving train under this Manchester sign. Before you mention safety concerns, please understand I use my long lens to zoom in and not my feet. As with wildlife, I keep a safe distance relying on my lens and cropping tools to do the trick. I was a very safe distance away while photographing.
