It’s Summer at Our House — pat morss

Finally, it feels and looks like summer as we pass the solstice.

House Finches at the front door; their beaks seem to grow the fastest.
Mourning Dove parents at the solar panels, tending to their two squabs.
Feeding both hungry kids at one time. Next morning the nest was empty.
It’s fun watching a professional. Eddy Egret on the lookout, hopping around.
Strike, with perfect timing.
Caught it!
Off to a comfortable rock to dine.
Whale watch season is in full swing; boats retrurning from their afternoon trips.
Joined on the deck by a swarm of feeding dragonflies. Jet contrails above.
BEFORE: Lobster dinner tastes better in the summer.
AFTER: No explanation needed.

Enjoy a specially-narrated sunset tour of Cape Ann’s coast and its six historic lighthouses, and support one of Cape Ann’s National Historic Landmarks! We can’t guarantee a perfect sunset, but we can guarantee a wonderful time. BYO picnic dinner or purchase one on board.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the cruise date will receive a full refund of the ticket price of $75.00, Eventbrite fees are non- refundable. Cancellation for weather is at the discretion of the boat operator, 7 Seas Whale Watch. If there is a weather cancellation, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price plus Eventbrite fees. Best efforts will be made to notify you of cancellation prior to Cruise departure.

Refraction: “the bending of a ray of light”, and the inspiration for visiting artist Luanne E Witkowski’s mixed-media work that reflects light, and visiting artist Jennifer K Brown’s ceramic sculptures. Owner-artist Rebecca Anne Nagle explores the movement of light through various mediums and Vanessa Michalak expresses light through her plein air paintings. Come join us at the opening reception for light beverages and talk about art!

Margarita Monday In Manchester

We celebrated Margarita Monday in Bravo by the Sea on Beach St in Manchester last week. Monday is when the Detroit Style Pizza is available so it was a win win. There is outdoor seating available and we enjoyed our drinks and pizza very much. Can’t lose. **Shout out to my youngest sister Judy for her birthday today!**

Wednesday: Wednesday Night Vibes with The Luna Trio in “The Corner” at the front of the restaurant. Music from 7:30pm – 10pm. No cover. Music: Jazz.
