Here are short bios on the four musicians:

Stan Strickland is a unique multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/movement artist who has toured nationally and internationally. Mixing jazz along with Latin and African influences, Stan plays both tenor and soprano sax and flute, along with horn. And say something about his voice too.

Joe Mulholland is a pianist, accompanist, jazz composer and arranger with a large discography and long history in the Boston-area jazz and popular music scene. Joe loves to play hard swinging jazz, gentle bossa nova, funky R’n’B and blues, and the entire Great American Songbook catalog from the 30’s to the 70’s. Expect to hear a little of each at this concert. Joe has been performing at Windhover for over four decades!

John Lockwood is a highly regarded jazz bassist who has toured internationally for 50 years and recorded on dozens of albums by the best performers in the jazz idiom. Quite simply, the perfect bass player.

Bob Tamagni is a passionate, highly musical drummer renowned for his sensitivity, drive and joy of musical expression. He does not hit the drums, he plays them! Bob and Joe have played together in different groups for over 25 years, so the rhythmic connection is deeply intuitive.

This incredibly talented quartet will lift your spirits and inspire you with their interaction and creativity. It is jazz for everyone! Wine and sparkling water will be shared to lift your spirits!
