A new contemporary art gallery is opening its doors on Madfish Wharf!   D’Wharf is a small, yet inviting space, exhibiting fresh and intriguing art by established artists particularly inspired by the beauty and essence of Cape Ann.

Curated by Anne Gilson, a painter and a new resident of Gloucester and member of the RNAC, the exhibit also features works by Claire Bean, Donna Caselden, Pam Courtleigh, Bredt Handy, Juliet Lockwood, Carolyn Plourde, and Dawn Southworth.

The gallery will have its first official opening reception Thursday June 20th, 5-7.  All are welcome to mingle and enjoy refreshments with the artists in one of the most beautiful and dynamic areas in Gloucester.

General hours will be 12-7 Thursday; 12-5 Friday-Sunday and will be available by appointment as well.

With all of the changes on Rocky Neck over the years, it’s exciting to see a new surge of cultural vitality.  D’Wharf, along with neighboring art studios, restaurants, and galleries, is delighted to be a part of it.
