Alison Cook-Beatty Dance and Ballet Papillon are delighted to return to Windhover Center for the Performing Arts in Rockport for a thrilling dual performance on Friday, June 14th, and Saturday, June 15th, at 7 p.m. on Windhover’s outdoor stage. Tickets range from $20.00-$30.00.

Alison Cook-Beatty will offer her World Premiere, Joyful Offering, to Bach’s oboe concerto.

This piece was commissioned by Board Chair Peter Muldavin and his wife, Helene Krumholz, who has served on the Advisory Board since the company’s foundation. A second work from Alison’s dance troupe will be LACRIMIS, which Alison choreographed in 2015 to a section of composer Nicholas Lens’s operatic trilogy, Flamma Flamma- The Fire Requiem.

Ballet Papillon, residing in Dallas, Texas, takes the stage for the other half of the program with seven dancers. Led by Artistic Director Katina Kumar and Company Manager Travis Morrison, they will present their captivating blend of choreography, music, and artistry in a performance on pointe titled “Unbound. ” From intricate footwork to harmonious partnerships and heartfelt stories, each dancer brings their unique experience to the stage, creating a magical evening of live art!

These two exciting and contrasting troupes return to Windhover to captivate and transform the audience in the magical natural setting of Windhover’s outdoor covered stage. Purchase your tickets here:
