2nd Gloucester Main Street Block PartySaturday, August 12 | 6 – 10 PM
What a line up we have for the 2nd Gloucester Main Street Block Party on Saturday evening! Our headline performer is Alazakam – The Human Knot, a world famous contortionist who will amaze you with his twisting and bending, while making you laugh at the same time! In addition, the NE Revolution will be present with games for the kids, a bucket drumming act from Berkley School of Music will be striking up a beat, and everyone’s favorite Cape Ann Dance will feature their talented young dancers.

Enjoy a spectacular sail aboard Schooner Adventure, one of Gloucester’s oldest working vessels. Sail Gloucester Harbor and beyond, experience a glorious Cape Ann Sunset, and enjoy the company of colleagues. A light meal will be served including delicious sandwiches, chips, and cookies. The event is BYOB, so pack your own libations to enjoy on the sail! Water and soda will be provided on board.All proceeds benefit the Carolyn M. O’Connor Scholarship Fund.

Cape Ann Artisan Summer Mini-Tour

Enjoy visiting many of the Cape Ann Artisans mid-summer for a one-day-only tour. The participating studios display the magenta flags in and around their locations. Rockport Illuminations

Saturday, August 12 | 11 AM – 2 PM

Lantern painting is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Harvey Park along with face painting and story-telling.

Rockport Fireworks over Sandy Bay begin at 9 p.m. Follow Rockport Illumination on Facebook for updates.

Gloucester Blues Festival
