I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people. Marty, I just love your B&W Gloucester at work photo series. Such great shots and so candid and real.

Thanks E.J.
I think taking environmental portraits is my favorite type of photography. People doing things in places that are significant to them -home-work-at play – challenges the photographer to dramatize the person-place connection and bring out their character and personality. Also, people at work are usually so focused on their task that there is little self consciousness or mugging for the camera.

Totally agree Marty. But I have to put a wise remark to this one as much as I love it & that is “Is he trying to swat a fly away…LOL…” Only kidding. It is a great picture.
