  1. I went to Beauport today and got a family membership. I was in awe through the tour. The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. They offer special events like tea parties and three hour tours, so glad I have the membership because it is worth going back for more and you get to tour 35 other Historic sites too. The colors and artistic talent blew me away. The view of the harbor is breathtaking as well as the landscaping. You really do not want to miss taking the tour.

  2. Especially Beauport, but all the Historic New England properties are very active. It is not just walk through and smell the mildew. That is “yesterdays” historic scene. Thanks to Pilar Garro and her team, I cannot imagine Beauport being in better condition at any time. They have even unearthed and rebuilt the old buried landscape design as mentioned and illustrated above. Go and get a schedule of events there. They are pretty economical too!
