Great job Joey ; This is what people needed to see. Everybody has heard about the Food Pantry but may not know how it works. Hopefully this will make people feel more comfortable about giving to the Food Pantry I know I am. I hope to see a big turnout at the Cape Ann Lanes on Thursday night and get this great organization the help it needs to serve the people that are a little down on their luck.

I have the priveledge of volunteering at the food pantry and it is one of the most rewarding things I do. The staff there is very dedicated to meeting the needs of the community to the very best of their ability and resourses. The store front, meals served, summer markets, summer lunch programs, holiday meals and more are representative of their commitment to helping those on Cape Ann who have a need. I would ask if you can contribute in any way to please do so and if you need to avail yourself of their services know that you will be greeted and welcomed.

Nice Job Julie & Joey! Well done. There are so many people in our neighborhoods that need our help so let’s get on board and help out!

I’m thrilled to see Julie and her team get good publicity like this for the Open Door… Those of us who have fed our families w/ help from Open Door when times have been tough are hugely appreciative of their work. And FYI, folks, everyone can support Open Door by donating to and doing business at the Second Glance thrift store on Pond Street, as well as by donating directly to the pantry!
