Great tribute pictures Joey;
It’s so sad to see Gloucester lose more hard working fishermen. They risk their lives everytime they step onto their Boats to feed their families. Between the Weather and the Fishing restrictions they take more chances just to make a living.
God bless the Gloucester Fishermen and their Families.

So very,very sad. The pictures certainly take on a new poignancy now, don’t they.
Such a terrible loss — especially for his wife who lost both husband and father. May God grant comfort to the bereaved.

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho’ from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

I was heartsick when I heard about this. My prayers go out to the family and the fishing community that have suffered such a great loss.

What does the family need? Is anyone starting a collection? It seems that debt is the last thing they would need right now. Probably the best way a stranger could help. So much sorrow. Especially for the wife with a new baby and child.

I’m waiting to see what the family comes up with and will post the information here as far as where and how we could help.
