From Sharon Lowe-
When I was a kid, nobody liked pea soup. It was green, mushy, and looked like something out of my baby brother’s diaper. Well, a few days ago, my grandkid Kylie and her friend were at my house, hungry as usual. I offered them tuna, peanut butter and jelly, regular kid stuff. No takers. Then I remembered the pea soup that was made the day before. On a whim, I suggested the soup to the kids. To my amazement , Kylie’s friend said yes. And Kylie (who eats almost everything) soon was begging for 2nds and 3rds. I guess kids’ tastes have changed. Got a leftover ham bone? Try this recipe on the family. Maybe pea soup will become the new Spaghetti-O’s!

I’ll take some French onion, thank you, lol.

Looks tasty. I make a similar recipe with beef bones and whatever leftover veggies and beans I have around. I’ll have to give this one a try.
