Even though I was there in the thick of it all, I enjoyed watching it all over again. Thank you!
And thanks to everyone for the enthusiasm with which you all embraced the Seafood Throwdowns. All of us at NAMA had a good time putting them on and it really helped make the planning easier when everyone seemed to enjoy them so much.
These events were planned to talk about the ecological and economic importance of locally caught seafood and gauge interest in creating a community supported fisheries (CSF) in Gloucester.
By the end of the summer we had about 100 people signing up to be part of the CSF. Which is amazing. We’ll be pulling the details together to hold some public meetings this summer, so please stay tuned. I’ll be sure to let the goodmorninggloucester.com clan know as things unfold.
Thanks again for making the videos and the seafood throwdowns so much fun. I look forward to next year.
