Thanks for publicizing this event, Joe. Let’s hope it encourages more people to come out (next year) and have a great experience. It’s a tribute to Gloucester to be able to host such an event! Cyclocross is exciting to watch and unique because you can actually get close to the racers while walking the entire course (well, almost). I saw my first race a couple of years ago and got hooked. I’m not an athlete by any stretch of the imagination, but I certainly do enjoy seeing all those talented athletes. All in all a very special weekend in Gloucester: the art exhibits, the cruise ship, the block party, the cyclocross etc. etc.
Great photo with the ocean backdrop! It was a perfect day! I’ve been to this event three times over four years and it keeps growing and growing. Perfect spot for cross!
