A cold and gray day. Hopefully cold enough to break down the San Diego Chargers who will be playing our beloved Patriots this afternoon.

Holy Canoli Batman! You gotta check out the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center’s slick new website (well at least it’s new since the last time I checked it out).
Especially the cool panoramics of the future expansion found here- Future GMHC Expansion Panoramics Click on the links along the bottom right hand side of the page to see the virtual tours were created by David Munson of Munson3d

Back at the dock

Things slow down considerably this time of year for us.  It is for that reason that we take our vacation time now.  Just getting back down here to the dock and catching up with all the paperwork, I’ve been reflecting all day about how fun it was hanging out with the family the past couple weeks.

Soooooo much fun.

Lat 43 Sushi

Unagi, Spicy Tuna Roll, Egg Roll, California Roll which uses real snow crab instead of that fake stuff found in most sushi joints.

Latitude 43 Octopus

This is a better pic of the infamous Octopus. The sushi chef told me that inside the head there will be a light fixture that is supposed to light it up. Should look pretty wild.

I got a few better shots of Latitude 43 during the day.

Go See- JUNO

JUNO movie poser

The Mrs and I agree that JUNO is the best movie we’ve seen in a really long time.

We were blown away by the performances and dialouge.

As soon as we got home we looked it up to see if it had been nominated or won any Golden Globes and sure enough it had been nominated but didn’t win any of the major awards.

Ellen Page as the main character was a breath of fresh air.  I’m sure we will see her i many movies in the future.

Go see it, you won’t be disappointed.
