From the Deep is back downtown tomorrow, Saturday, November 7.
We’re hosting the free Sea Creative Children’s Sketching Contest right here at Pat D’s Photos and Gloucester Apparel, 44 Main Street, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Here’s how it works: kids pick up a free sketchbook from us, head out and sketch a scene around town, then bring the sketchbook back with their sketch, their name, and a parent’s phone number written in the booklet.
We’ll show the sketches on Sunday’s GloucesterCast podcast, where viewers will vote for their favorite. The winner gets to pick out a cap from the shop!
From the Deep runs 11 AM to 5 PM all across the Harbortown Cultural District with over 25 free cultural programs — a free theater program, art demonstrations, art installations, live music, and a whole lot more at galleries and spots all over downtown.

Make a day of it downtown. See you Saturday.
